Update-o!

Been slacking on the 'blog' front, but not on the music one!  Check the Tour page as more dates are getting added as the year goes on :)  Recording of the album is going well, we're in a new studio and keeping it simple - so far, so swanky!  Pleased to share a couple of new YouTube videos:

Also, I (Andy) have retired my epiphone due to extreme fret wear (sad times...), as my first acoustic it has served me well the past 11 years.  My new guitar is a rather gorgeous Vintage V400MH - super nice to play and sounds super fit!

Splendid Times Ahead!

Well, so far this year is shaping up damn good! We have a run of shows at The Lomax in Liverpool to look forward to from February onwards, our first show of the year is at The Zanzibar in Liverpool where we'll be performing some new songs for the first time :) The big news is that we are opening for Joan Armatrading when she hits the Liverpool Philharmonic in November!

We will be releasing our album in September on our Searching For Dandelions label, in the meantime we're rehearsing and spending some time in a number of different studios recording things as and when we can afford to. First producer we're working with will be Daniel Finney of Deafen the Creatures - a busy year ahead of us, let's see what we can achieve :)

Happy New Year!

Now that festivities and illness are (pretty much) out the way Liz & I will be getting back on the practice horse and sorting out a fresh set of songs. There are some ideas we've been tinkering with for a while but a couple are pretty tricky and we're still arranging harmonies and solo sections! Resolutions?

1) To put more videos up this year on YouTube
2) Try and double the number of gigs (So we need 110 in our diary - any takers? Get in touch!)

First one of the year looks like it's The Zanzibar, Liverpool in February :)
